Following the Fall of Ertogan, what the Metropolitan of Morphou said

Some people are attempting to intimidate us, especially Erdogan and his group. A man of God has pointed out that Erdogan’s tactics of intimidation in the Aegean and Thrace are designed to silence others, including those in Skopje and here in Cyprus regarding our gas resources. I am determined to inspire the hearts of Cypriots and our leaders. They need to recognize the fear that is being instilled in them. The reality is that we should expect Erdogan's downfall. I can't predict whether it will be political or biological, but I am certain his arrogance will lead to self-destruction. Acknowledging that our greatest allies in modern Hellenism are our saints and Erdogan himself is crucial. His arrogance will ultimately seal his fate. Once he falls, other Western leaders who lack the vision of the Ottoman Empire will step in. Nothing of real consequence will occur while Erdogan is in power. The serious events will unfold after his reign ends; as modern saints tell us, Erdogan will fall. When this happens, Cyprus will gain significant protection, and we must seize this moment for prayer and repentance. Erdogan may think he’s clever, but his decisions will lead to his undoing. He will initiate events that will cause his sudden fall. After him, Turkey will see new political leaders—those who are pro-Western but inept—who will emerge. These leaders will likely sever ties with Russia and provoke it. History shows that underestimating Russia is unwise.
