The Blessed Will Inherit the Earth

Christ says: “The blessed will inherit the earth” (Matt. 5:5).

It is not the physical earth as we walk on today.
Here, “earth” refers to the final, renewed creation.
The blessed are those united with God and participating in His grace.
New earth = paradise of creation

In other words: inheriting the earth means living in the renewed creation, fully united with God and divine joy.

Prophecies about the War and the Cyprus Issue: What to Expect

According to prophecies attributed to Orthodox Saints, the coming years will be marked by major geopolitical upheavals in our region.

The prophecies speak of a war involving Turkey, which will lead to great destruction and territorial fragmentation. It is mentioned that powers such as Russia will become involved, and Turkey will be dramatically weakened. Through this conflict, peoples such as the Kurds and Armenians will claim and regain territories.

According to these prophecies, Constantinople will once again come under Greek control.

After these events, the Cyprus issue is expected to change radically. It is said that the Turkish army will no longer be present in Cyprus. Turkish Cypriots will return to their homes, and Greek Cypriots will return to theirs, to the properties they lost. The major remaining issue will concern the settlers and how they are managed.

However, the same prophecies warn that these events will not remain local. The Turkish war will not be the end — but the beginning of a larger global conflict that will shake humanity.

Many see in these accounts a period of great trials, but also of realignments that will lead to a new historical era.

After Erdogan

THIS WILL HAPPEN AFTER ERDOGAN

Friendly to Russia at times, will be serving NATO Turkey and against Russia It is very obvious today that the Western powers are very much opposed to Russia and are ready to go to a third world war. So it is not hard to imagine that the new leadership will do whatever NATO asks and will provoke Russia by shutting down the Bosporus and the straits so they can't pass through. The only way they can do that is if there is a hot war going on, and that is why they will be allowed to attack Greece. They will also try to take the Cypriot Turkish half of the island and annex it to Turkey. One of the reasons for this is the economic interest for Turkey in the Mediterranean. If you know a little about the geography, politics, and economic situation, you can see that there is a lot of interest for Turkey to get more of the Mediterranean for oil exploration. Right now, they have very limited ability to do anything in terms of economic exploration in the Mediterranean. Therefore, there is an economic motivation for them to gain more area, which means they would need to have land and islands in the Mediterranean. There are a few very tiny islands that are key to preventing them from doing that. One of the islands is called Ro another is from Gil Meis, and another is Castellorizo or something like that These three islands are together, just, halfway between Rhodes and South Cyprus. If those islands were in their hands, they would have access to oil exploration. Multiple factors will come together: the interests of NATO, the interests of the Turkish economic situation, which is dire, and the long-term strategic goals.

“Awake, my soul! Awake — while there is still time…”

This image is deeply unsettling.

Not to frighten the body, but to awaken the conscience.

Demons are shown dragging away the soul of a man who leaves this life without repentance.

Not because God did not love him —

but because he refused to return.

The Guardian Angel has turned away.

Not in cruelty, but in grief.

He mourns silently for a soul that had time… and wasted it.

Money lies scattered on the floor.

A symbol of a life that trusted in material wealth,

yet never invested in repentance.

This image was not created to drive us to despair,

but to shake us awake.

As long as we breathe, there is hope.

As long as there is time, there is a way back.

After that… time ends, and the choice is sealed.

Repentance is not fear.

It is a return to Love.

When an Old-Calendarist Woman Met Elder Ephraim of Philotheou

(An incident recounted to us by Elder Nikon of the New Skete on Mount Athos)

Once, as I was telling the Elder my thoughts, the telephone rang, and the Elder said to me:

“Shall I answer it, my boy?”

“Well, answer it, Elder,” I said. “It might be some urgent need—someone might be dying. I can find you again later.”

He answered the phone, and I heard a woman who was crying, shouting, beating herself, and screaming.

And the Elder was saying to her on the phone:

“Do you see, my girl, what I was telling you? Do you see that I told you to do this? Yes, my girl, you are right—yes, that’s how it is.”

Then the Elder hung up the phone.

“If it’s something confessional,” I said to him, “Elder, don’t tell me. But if it’s something else, what happened to her and why was she like that?”

As the Elder told me, she was a schoolteacher from Epirus who was an Old-Calendarist. When she met Fr. Ephraim—somehow—I don’t know how—she began attacking him relentlessly:

“You New-Calendarists have betrayed Christianity. You have gone over to the Pope, to Satan. Your Patriarch is a heretic. You have no grace of the priesthood. The Holy Spirit has left the Church with the New Calendar.”

“No, my girl,” the Elder told her, “that’s not how it is. Our priests do have the priesthood.”

But he could not convince her. Then he said to her:

“Go, my girl, to a church that follows the New Calendar and receive Holy Communion, and the Lord will answer you.”

And because the woman was sincere, she did what the Elder suggested. She said to herself, “What do I have to lose? At worst, I’ll just drink a little wine and eat a small piece of bread. I have nothing to lose.”

So she went. At the time when the priest was communing the faithful, and when her turn came, she opened her mouth, received Communion, and then stepped aside to the women’s area. She tried to chew what the priest had placed in her mouth with the spoon, but she felt it in her mouth like rubber.

“What did the priest put in my mouth?” she wondered.

She tried to bite it, but it would not bite. Then she put her fingers into her mouth and pulled them out covered with blood, holding in her hand a piece of flesh. Then she began to cry out:

“My Christ, my Panagia, have mercy on me! Have mercy on me, Panagia! Have mercy on me, my Christ!”

The other women saw her, understood that a miracle had taken place, and grabbed her hand so that she would not throw down what she was holding. She did not want to hold it. Then the others forced it back into her mouth. She put it into her mouth unwillingly, and then it became again like bread, and thus she was able to swallow it. And the blood on her fingers became like wine, and then they went and washed her fingers.

Thus we know with certainty that what our Church teaches us is true.

(This is an incident recounted to us by Elder Nikon of the New Skete on Mount Athos, and the Elder to whom it happened was Fr. Ephraim of Philotheou [Arizona].)
