Look. As it has been said, the sin of the world, especially of the rulers, at this level gives and grants rights to the earth. Did you hear that? The earth gains rights. It is a living organism. We come from dust (soil). I don't know how many trillions, millions of cells are synchronized inside our body, in every human body.

So, we are a living organism, just as soil is a living organism. When—as we have seen many times—sin pollutes the earth, and what is sin? The violation of God's law. It suffers. Volcanoes begin to erupt. Earthquakes occur. So, I am telling you right now that the earth has received rights from above, from the Holy Spirit, from the Paraclete. And these rights that it has taken will appear at some point. How will they appear? With a major earthquake, a volcanic eruption, the facts will change.

Imagine an earthquake happening at the San Andreas Fault and being an 8 or 9 Richter. The facts change, and the sea reaches 200 meters from Elder Ephraim's monastery in Arizona. Do the facts change in America? Of course they change. Everything will change because California will sink. California right now is the backbone of the current economy in America. The state of California practically holds almost all the other states. If it sinks, America sinks with it.

Then we also have the supervolcano. Let's not forget, we have the huge volcano in America which, if it erupts, all of North America will disappear.

So, we must take into account and understand that sooner or later, the earth will react. It took its rights from the Paraclete. Now everything is open—whether for the big earthquake, or if it happens here.

However, here you should know the following: Greece will not suffer many things. It will be injured... It will be injured because Greece does not differ in sin from other countries; it is the same or even worse. However, the intercessions and prayers of our Saints right now are protecting it. And the Virgin Mary will protect it—she has cast her veil over it—because she believes in the Greeks. And she believes in the Greeks not for wealth.

We will not go to the City—we also write this in the newspaper that comes out on Saturday—we will not go to the Queen City (Constantinople) which we are close to. We are on our way towards the Queen City, the city of our dreams, Constantinople, our main capital

When Humanity Forgets God

A warning about sin, repentance, the earth, and the mercy of God

There are moments in history when humanity must stop, look around, and ask a serious question:

Where are we going?

We live in an age of extraordinary technological advancement, yet at the same time we see war, hatred, violence, corruption, immorality, the destruction of families, contempt for human life, and a growing rejection of God.

The Orthodox Christian tradition has never taught us to look at such things with indifference.

The Holy Scriptures repeatedly remind us that creation itself is connected with the spiritual condition of humanity.

“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
— Romans 8:22

This is not merely a message about earthquakes, volcanoes, wars, or political events.

It is first a message about the human heart.

WHEN SIN BECOMES A WOUND UPON CREATION

In the video accompanying this article, the speaker presents a powerful spiritual interpretation: that humanity’s increasing rebellion against God can have consequences not only for society, but for creation itself.

No human being can know with certainty when or whether such a catastrophe will occur.

But there is another question that is much more important:

What if the warning is not primarily about the earthquake?

What if the real warning is about us?

THE EARTHQUAKE WITHIN THE HUMAN SOUL

A physical earthquake destroys buildings.

A spiritual earthquake can destroy a person’s pride.

A physical storm shakes the ground.

A spiritual storm shakes the conscience.

And sometimes a person must experience an earthquake within himself before he realizes how far he has moved away from God.

Christ did not tell us to calculate the exact date of catastrophes.

He told us to watch.

He told us to repent.

He told us to be spiritually awake.

The Christian response to warnings about the future should therefore never be panic.

It should be repentance and vigilance.

“WATCH AND PRAY”

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a simple command:

“Watch therefore, and pray always.”

This is the key to understanding everything.

If tomorrow brings peace, we should be ready.

If tomorrow brings difficulty, we should be ready.

If the world becomes more stable, we should be ready.

If the world enters a period of great turmoil, we should be ready.

The Christian does not live by fear of the future.

The Christian lives by faith in God.

GREECE AND THE PROTECTION OF THE THEOTOKOS

One of the most striking parts of the message concerns Greece.

The speaker acknowledges that Greece is not spiritually perfect and that Greeks, like all peoples, carry responsibility for their sins. This is deeply connected with the spiritual consciousness of Orthodox Christianity.

But the protection of the Panagia should never be interpreted as permission to continue living in sin.

The opposite is true.

If we believe that the Mother of God intercedes for us, then our response should be:

Repent. Pray. Forgive. Return to Christ.

The mercy of God is not an excuse for sin.

It is an invitation to repentance.

THE SAINTS AND THE MERCY OF GOD

The Orthodox Church has always emphasized the prayers of the Saints.

The Saints did not become holy because they were powerful according to worldly standards.

They became holy because they surrendered themselves to God.

Their lives remind us that the greatest protection is not political power, military strength, money, or technology.

The greatest protection is the grace of God.

This does not mean that Christians should ignore ordinary preparations for earthquakes, wars, natural disasters, or other emergencies.

It means that physical preparation and spiritual preparation should exist together.

Prepare your home.

Protect your family.

Help your neighbor.

But above everything:

Prepare your soul.

THE MYSTERY OF THE “QUEEN CITY”

For generations, stories and traditions concerning Constantinople have been associated with the hopes, sufferings, and expectations of the Orthodox world.

But here we must make an important distinction.

Human beings should never speak with absolute certainty about future geopolitical events as though they possess knowledge of God’s timetable.

The future belongs to God.

If Constantinople is ever involved in events of extraordinary historical significance, that will happen according to God’s providence—not because human beings have successfully calculated the future.

Our responsibility is not to predict every event.

Our responsibility is to remain faithful.

PROPHECY IS NOT A LICENSE FOR FEAR

There is a great temptation in our time to take every earthquake, war, political crisis, or natural disaster and immediately declare:

“This is the prophecy!”

We must be careful.

Not every earthquake is a sign.

Not every war is the final war.

Not every political event is the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy.

And no one should claim certainty where certainty has not been given by God.

The Orthodox Christian tradition calls us to discernment.

We can listen to warnings.

We can examine the signs of our times.

We can remember the words of the Saints.

But we must remain humble.

THE GREATEST CATASTROPHE IS SPIRITUAL

There is a catastrophe far greater than the destruction of a city.

It is the destruction of the human soul.

A city can be rebuilt.

A house can be reconstructed.

A nation can recover.

But when a person completely abandons God, something far more serious has happened.

That is why the most important preparation for the future is not storing food, money, or possessions.

It is preparing the soul for eternity.

Go to confession.

Forgive those who have hurt you.

Ask forgiveness from those whom you have hurt.

Return to prayer.

Attend Divine Liturgy.

Receive the Holy Mysteries with proper preparation and guidance from your spiritual father.

Read the Holy Scriptures.

Call upon the name of Jesus Christ.

And ask the Panagia to intercede for us.

THIS IS NOT A MESSAGE OF DOOM

The purpose of a Christian warning is not to make people terrified.

It is to wake them up.

There is a tremendous difference.

Fear says:

“Something terrible is coming. We are finished.”

Faith says:

“Whatever comes, I will remain with Christ.”

That is the difference between worldly fear and Christian vigilance.

We do not know what tomorrow will bring.

We do not know whether the world will experience another great earthquake, volcanic catastrophe, war, economic collapse, or something completely unexpected.

But we do know something far more important:

Christ has not abandoned His creation.

THE FINAL QUESTION

Perhaps the most important question is not:

“When will the great earthquake happen?”

It is not:

“When will Yellowstone erupt?”

It is not:

“When will Constantinople return?”

And it is not:

“What will happen to America, Greece, Turkey, or the world?”

The most important question is:

“Where will I stand when I stand before God?”

That is the question that no earthquake can postpone.

That is the question no government can answer.

That is the question no scientist can answer for us.

And that is why every warning about the future should ultimately lead us back to Christ.

A FINAL CALL TO REPENTANCE

Perhaps humanity still has time.

Perhaps the greatest catastrophe can still be avoided.

Perhaps the warning itself is part of God’s mercy.

Because when God allows a warning to reach us, the purpose is not necessarily destruction.

Sometimes the warning is the final opportunity to change direction.

Therefore, let us not respond with panic.

Let us respond with prayer.

Let us not respond with hatred.

Let us respond with repentance.

Let us not curse the world.

Let us pray for the world.

Let us not place our hope in politicians, armies, wealth, or earthly kingdoms.

Let us place our hope in Jesus Christ.

And let us ask the Most Holy Theotokos and all the Saints to intercede for us.

☦️ Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon us.

☦️ Most Holy Theotokos, protect us and lead us to your Son.

☦️ Holy Saints of God, pray for us.
